Data Deletion
You can delete your data from Throttle at any time. When you do, we remove your stored access tokens, your configuration, activity history, and any cached analytics associated with your Instagram account.
Option 1 — In the app (instant)
Connections → Disconnect. This immediately revokes access and deletes your stored token. Your remaining data is purged within 30 days.
Option 2 — Revoke from Instagram/Facebook
Remove Throttle from your account settings on Facebook (Settings → Business Integrations) or Instagram. Meta notifies us via a deauthorization callback and we delete your associated data automatically.
Option 3 — Email request
Email support@trythrottle.com from the address on your account, or with your Instagram handle, and we will delete all associated data and confirm within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Encrypted Instagram/Facebook access tokens
- Your engine configuration and voice profile
- Activity and engagement history
- Cached analytics and snapshots
Developers: Throttle also honors Meta's automated Data Deletion Request callback, so deletions initiated from Facebook are processed programmatically.
