Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of Throttle ("Throttle", "we", "us"), a service that helps Instagram Business and Creator accounts manage engagement on their own posts using Instagram's official Graph API. By connecting your account, you agree to these Terms.
1. What Throttle does
Throttle acts only on your own Instagram account and posts, and only as you configure it: liking genuine comments, replying to comments (automatically or as drafts you approve), hiding spam or abusive comments, and reading your account analytics. All actions use Instagram's official API under permissions you explicitly grant.
2. Your account and eligibility
You must own or be authorized to manage the Instagram Business or Creator account you connect, and be at least 18 years old. You are responsible for the configuration you choose and for the content of any replies posted on your behalf.
3. Authorization & passwords
You connect through Facebook's official login (OAuth). We never ask for, receive, or store your Instagram or Facebook password. You can revoke Throttle's access at any time from your Instagram or Facebook settings, or by disconnecting inside the app.
4. Acceptable use
- Use Throttle only on accounts you are authorized to manage.
- Do not use Throttle to harass, spam, deceive, or violate Instagram's or Meta's Platform Terms and Community Guidelines.
- You are responsible for ensuring your automated replies comply with applicable law and platform policy.
5. Availability
Throttle depends on the Instagram Graph API and third-party infrastructure. Features may change or be limited if the underlying API changes. We provide the service "as is," without warranties of uninterrupted availability.
6. Fees
Paid plans are billed as described at checkout. You can cancel at any time; access continues through the end of the current billing period.
7. Termination
You may stop using Throttle and disconnect your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms or that put the service's platform access at risk.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Throttle is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for actions taken by Instagram/Meta on your account. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the prior three months.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
